Description

This qualification is designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and competencies to use counselling skills ethically and safely in a variety of contexts and roles, such as the helping professions.  This qualification is for those starting our in their training as a professional counsellor, or those wanting to learn counselling skills for other professions or helping roles.  This course is also useful for anybody wishing to improve their communication and listening skills, or their professional and / or personal relationships as part of their personal development.

This course plans to run twice during the academic school year, during September to July.  Assessment is via written course work and tutor observation.

This is an RQF qualification regulated by Ofqual.

Entry Requirements

No previous training or experience is required to undertake this qualification.

The minimum age for this course is 18 (age requirement is linked to Ofqual’s system for categorising qualifications).

CPCAB candidate registration fee (currently £179).

Guided Learning Hours & Course Credits

This course is 90 guided learning hours and has a total of 17 credits.
